A luxurious trio : at the bottom Hosta plantaginea 'Honey Bells', to the left Hosta tardiana 'Halcyon', to the right Hosta sieboldiana 'Golden Frances Williams'.

hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'

Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'. A very generous plant : 40 heads this year. It was a small young plant of 15 cm planted two years ago.

The floral heads owed for a long time and take a pale green colour by drying. They remain clean until November when they begin to darken.

gunnera manicata

Gunnera manicata : it is 2,30 meters high and 3,70 meters large-scale. The biggest leaves measure 1,50 meter of wide.

Ligularia stenocephala 'The Rocket' indeed answer the gunnera by their vigour and their floral handle are 1,80 meter high.

lavatera olbia 'Rosea'

Lavatera olbia 'Rosea'
In mid-February, I trim at 10 cm my shrubby lavateras. They'll bloom relentlessly of the end of June up the first frosts. These plants have a short duration of life (3/4 years). It seems to come true, because a branch has just died suddenly. My plant is 3 years old. It is time, in august, to take a cutting from it to transplant a young plant in the spring which will develop very fast.

Lavatera thuringiaca 'Barnsley'
This cultivar seems little stable. In the third year of its life, half of the plant began decorating with flowers pink.

The crocosmias propagates rather fast and are even intrusive.

Echinacea purpurea

Echinacea purpurea
I don't like very much hanging petals of this plant, but the colour is luxurious.

Rosebush shrub 'Baronne Surcouf'
I like very much this rosebush the young bronze foliage of which harmonizes well with the bronze fennel of the background.

Lychnis coronaria 'Alba'
The white flowers are often washed by pink.

nepeta x faasenii

Nepeta
One of the most generous plants : it grows fast and blooms during five months.

Hydrangea 'Bergfink'
It seems to adopt a port very stocky, almost creeping.

tradescantia x andersoniana'

Purple tradescantia x andersoniana.

The short-lived of Virginia blooms for a long time from the end of the spring to the end of the autumn, even at the middle-shadow and like a fresh ground. Their small lively spots of colour accompany well the pink or yellow rosebushes.

Phygelius x rectus 'African Queen'.

Averagely rustic plant. He needs a very well drained ground in winter. I trim level of the ground in March.

houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon'

Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon'
Very beautiful cover-ground of which the leaves are colored with pink and with red all the better since they see the sun. But it is a little sensitive to the cold and stats very late.

Tolmiea menziesii 'Taff's Gold'.

Nicknamed 'the hen and her chicks' because of the young leaves growing on the most old, it's an other interesting cover-ground, stronger than the precedent, liking the middle-shadow.

Anaphalis triplinervis

Anaphalis triplinervis.

Its white floral capitulums remain ornamental very for a long time. The plant develops very fast and likes all the exposures.
